Does the app store my data in the cloud?
Your nutrition logs, food entries, weight records, and profile stay locally on your device. We do send anonymous analytics and crash reports, and if you use AI estimation we send the meal photo, optional description, and a random app-generated device ID to the AI proxy so the feature can work and be rate-limited.
How does adaptive TDEE work?
For the first 14 days, we use the Mifflin-St Jeor formula based on your profile. After that, a 14-day rolling window of your actual intake and weight change produces a TDEE specific to you. The calculation adjusts by up to ±100 kcal/day to prevent overcorrection.
Is the Vanguard Program free?
Yes. Signing up gives you early TestFlight or Play Store access before the public launch, plus direct communication with the developer. No payment required.
How do I delete my data?
Uninstalling the app removes your on-device data. If you signed up for email updates, unsubscribe via the link in any email we’ve sent. Anonymous analytics, crash reports, and AI rate-limit records may remain according to service retention windows.
Is the app free?
The full tracking experience is free — adaptive TDEE, barcode scanning, recipes, AI estimation (limited credits included), and analytics. Optional advanced features may be added later, but the core will always be free.
